The Allegro Music School

The Allegro Music School was established in Larnaca, Cyprus in 1994 and follows the program of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) which is the leading international examining body for music.

Established in 1889 the ABRSM yearly conducts around 630,000 exams worldwide and has links with four Royal Schools of Music in the U.K: Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, Royal Northern College of Music and Royal Scottish Academy of Music and  Drama.

Teaching classical piano, electric keyboard and the accordion as well as music theory, history of music, harmony and polyphony at all levels, Allegro Music School is established as one of the leading music schools in Cyprus with over 80% of students passing exams with distinction.

Practical exams range from Prep Test to Grade 8 and then to diploma level with the DipABRSM, LRSM and FRSM available in teaching, performing and directing.

Admission-Audition Requirements

Applicants must be 7 years old and perform an audition which must-show a good feeling for rhythm, proper singing and a strong desire to learn music.

For students not having access to their own instrument, one can be provided by the school on a low rent basis.
